DMCA Copyright Policy

1. Digital Millennium Copyright Act Compliance
FreelancerKit respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on FreelancerKit, send a written notification containing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the infringing material and its location on our site (specific URL)
- Your contact information: name, address, phone, email
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate

3. Counter-Notification
If material you posted was removed due to a DMCA notice, you may file a counter-notification including your contact details, identification of removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and consent to jurisdiction of federal court.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, FreelancerKit will terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
